The boat has wintered at the same storage lot for years, but it is closing, or the new rate makes it not worth it, and the owner needs somewhere else lined up before the season turns. That is one call I get out of Hingham. The other is a repair yard two states over, further than most people want to drive with a sailboat behind them, especially one that has not touched a trailer in years.
My crew runs the boat hauling with our own truck, door to door, the same routes that cover Hull and Hanover. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved. Details on the Massachusetts boat transport page.
