Every fall, the boat comes off the water and needs to reach a storage lot before the first freeze, then needs to make the same trip back come spring. That round trip is a steady piece of the work out of Holyoke. The other kind is a one-way call: a repair yard two states off, further than most people want to trailer a sailboat there and back in a weekend.
My crew runs the haul with our own truck, door to door, the same corridor through Chicopee and West Springfield Town. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved. Details on the Massachusetts boat transport page.
