Survey day arrives, and the sailboat has to be at the yard before the surveyor signs off, not still sitting at its slip forty minutes away. That is one reason the phone rings in Hillsborough. The other is a lease that ran out at the end of the season, leaving a boat with nowhere to sit while the owner figures out storage.
My crew handles the haul with our own truck and trailer, door to door, running the same corridor through Manville and Raritan. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved. Details on the New Jersey boat transport page.
