Every fall a Ridgewood family moves their sailboat off its stand and into storage before the frost sets in, and every spring the same trip runs in reverse to get it back on the water. A second household nearby handles the same round trip with a runabout, the storage lot too far to tow it themselves twice a year without losing a weekend both times.
My crew handles the boat hauling out of Ridgewood with our own truck and trailer, load it and deliver door to door on routes that also cover Bergenfield and Dumont. Oversize paperwork is ours before the wheels turn. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved. Details on the New Jersey boat transport page.
