Fall closes the season on the lake, and the boat that spent the summer on a lift needs to reach storage before the first freeze, then make the same trip home again in the spring. A mile away, a sailboat owner is moving up a survey date ahead of a sale, the repair yard too far to tow behind anything in the driveway.
My crew runs the boat hauling with our own truck and trailer, tow it out and set it down door to door, with Central Falls and Cranston on the same routes most weeks. Oversize paperwork is ours before the wheels turn. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved, details on the Rhode Island boat transport page.
