I've pulled sailboats out of Cherokee County driveways and storage lots where the mast came down one fall and never went back up. A 28-foot Catalina on a trailer behind a garage for a decade, its rigging seized, the owner tired of looking at it. Or the slip fees kept climbing, and the boat sat at the marina unused, just bleeding money every month. Sometimes it's an estate where nobody in the family sails, and the old sailboat is just an obligation. These boats don't move. The listing dies. The price drops. Nothing happens.
We handle sailboat disposal from start to finish in Woodstock, and we cover Holly Springs and Mountain Park on the same trip. The crew comes out, we assess the rig and hull, drop the mast if it's still standing, disconnect what needs disconnecting, and load it on the truck. Missing title, incomplete paperwork, lien questions, none of that stops the job. We work through the details on the back end. You get a photo when it's loaded. That's it. It's gone.
