The marine surveyor is booked for Thursday morning, and the pre-purchase inspection has to happen at the yard, not at the dock where the boat's been sitting since spring. A sailboat two towns over has the identical deadline, a bank requiring a fresh survey before the loan closes. Missing either appointment resets the whole sale.
My crew runs boat hauling out of Dedham with a truck and trailer rated for the hull, loaded, secured, and delivered door to door, with Braintree Town and Canton sitting on the same route through Norfolk County. Oversize paperwork is ours before the wheels turn. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved, details on the Massachusetts boat transport page.
