Fall means the same trip for a lot of boats around here, off the lake and into a storage lot before the ice comes, then back out again each spring. That round trip fills a good share of the schedule out of Jackson. The other kind of call is a sale: a sailboat sells to a buyer a few counties off, and nothing in the seller's driveway is rated to pull it that far.
My crew handles the haul with our own truck and trailer, door to door, the same routes through Brooklyn and Grass Lake. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved. Details on the Michigan boat transport page.
