Nine that morning was the deadline the surveyor set, and the sailboat pulled from its Kalamazoo marina slip needed to be at the yard three towns over by then. The buyer's financing depended on the report going through clean, and the seller's rig, built for a canoe and not much more, was never going to make the trip.
My crew runs the haul with our own truck and trailer, taking it door to door straight to the surveyor's yard, oversize paperwork ours before the tires turn. Augusta and Richland sit on the same route we run through Kalamazoo County. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved, details on the Michigan boat transport page.
