A Rochester family's trailer was built for a runabout, not the 27-foot sailboat they picked up secondhand from an estate two towns over, and the tongue weight alone ruled out towing it themselves. A second owner ran into the same limit trying to move a trawler off a dock and into winter storage, with no truck at home rated for a hull that size.
My crew handles the boat hauling out of Rochester, loading it and running it door to door on routes that also cover Somersworth and Barrington. Oversize paperwork is ours before the wheels turn. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved. Details on the New Hampshire boat transport page.
