The boat, a 26-foot sailboat an owner inherited from a relative last spring, outweighs what the trailer behind a Randolph garage was ever rated to pull, and hauling it themselves risked the axle before the first exit. A second owner ran into the same wall trying to move a cruiser off a dock and into storage before the lease renewed at a higher rate, with nothing at home capable of handling the load.
My crew runs boat hauling out of Randolph, load it and deliver door to door with our own truck, same routes as Denville and Dover. Oversize paperwork is ours before the wheels turn. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved. Details on the New Jersey boat transport page.
