Hauling a sailboat out of a Parsippany-Troy Hills lot

The 23 ft Hunter 23.5 had been sitting in a driveway since late fall. The owner winterized it, but the water ballast tank cracked under freeze-thaw cycles, and by spring the hull had absorbed enough moisture that the whole boat listed slightly on its trailer. The original trailer hadn't moved in years. Both tires were flat, the frame rusted through in two spots, and the coupling had seized. We staged the rig in Mount Olive, pulled the mast down, and removed the keel at our yard. The trailer couldn't support another haul, so we loaded the hull and keel separately onto our recovery truck using a spreader bar. The owner had no title in the drawer, and we handled the New Jersey paperwork per the standard process. Most of the morning was spent on access and weight distribution, but the hull came out clean. We routed the fiberglass to the processor and recycled the aluminum fittings and stainless hardware. The owner got a document showing the boat was gone. We cover all of Morris County: Mount Olive, Randolph, Morris, Roxbury, Montville, Parsippany. Most pickups happen same week. Spring and fall are our busiest seasons, that's when people move boats in and out of storage units or transition them between marinas, and we've got the routes dialed in to handle the volume without delays. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll give you a day.
