A 20 ft Galaxy 2000 bowrider was sitting in a Clifton yard, stripped down to bare fiberglass by a previous owner who'd started a restoration and walked away. No trailer underneath it, just blocks and rot. The hull had been exposed to weather for years, and the owner finally decided to stop looking at it. Getting it out meant rigging a heavy-duty rotator and winch setup because the weight of a fiberglass hull that size, even stripped, isn't something you muscle. We had to cut a path through the side yard to avoid damage to the property, and the driveway wasn't wide enough for our standard recovery truck. We brought in a smaller rotator from our Paterson-area crew and worked the hull onto a flatbed using a step-by-step approach, keeping the stress even so the fiberglass didn't crack further. Most of a morning on-site, then the hull went straight to the processor in Passaic County for responsible recycling.
