The dock is where the twenty-six-foot cruiser has sat since a buyer three counties over agreed to take it, and the seller's half-ton pickup had no business pulling it that far on a hitch built for a jon boat and a utility trailer. A sailboat two docks down hit the same wall, sold over a weekend and stuck at the ramp until someone with a rig sized for it turned up.
My crew handles the haul with our own truck, rated for the hull, running it door to door from start to finish. Oversize paperwork is ours before wheels turn, so nothing stalls at either end.
