I see two situations a lot in La Puente. One is the sailboat where the mast came down one fall and never went back up. Owner figured they'd deal with it in spring. Spring turned into years. The rigging's corroded now, the sail cover's rotted, and the slip fees or storage lot charges just kept coming. The other is the boat that came with a house or a lake property someone inherited. Nobody in the family sails. The thing's been sitting on stands or in dry storage while the fees pile up and the surveyor's report from five years ago gathers dust.
We handle sailboat disposal from La Puente through Industry and Valinda, rig down to finish. I send a crew to assess the boat, we handle the title work, and we tow it out start to finish. Missing paperwork doesn't stop the job. More details on what that looks like are on the sailboat disposal page.
