I've pulled sailboats out of Downers Grove where the mast came down one fall and never went back up, the owner telling himself he'd step it again come spring. Spring turned into five springs. Other calls come from people who bought a lake house with a slip, or inherited one, and the sailing never happened. The rigging sat. The storage fees kept coming. Then there's the restoration that stalled at the deck core, the survey that killed a sale, the trailer sailer that moved here from out of state and got buried behind the garage a decade ago.
We handle sailboat disposal start to finish across Downers Grove and into Westmont and Clarendon Hills on the same trip. The crew steps the mast, secures the rig, loads the old sailboat, and tows it out. Missing paperwork doesn't stop the job. More details on how we handle the haul and what happens to the hull are on the sailboat disposal page.
