Hauling a pontoon out of a St. Louis pickup

A 20 ft Sylvan Mirage 20 pontoon sat in a St. Louis yard for three seasons, pontoons stained dark at the waterline and the furniture rotted through. The owner had pulled it from service years back, parked it on a serviceable trailer, and figured he'd deal with it someday. Someday turned into never. When we arrived, the real problem wasn't the boat itself. The trailer tires held air, and the hitch was solid.
