Storm Damaged Boat Removal in Narragansett, RI

An insurance settlement covered the damage but not the boat itself, which is where we came in. A coastal storm had picked the 24 ft Wellcraft up off its trailer blocks and set it back down at an angle hard enough to crack the hull along one side, and the adjuster's report closed the claim with the boat declared a total loss right where it landed. Nobody wanted to deal with hauling a cracked hull off a damaged trailer sitting on uneven ground. We built a temporary ramp of blocking under the low corner to level it before rigging straps, since pulling from an angle that steep would have torn the transom loose.
