The season ended and so did the lease: the boat's summer spot ran out at the end of August, and there is no yard at the new place built to hold a twenty-four-foot pontoon on blocks through the winter. A sailboat under the same kind of lease sat two more weeks past its deadline before the owner found someone who could actually move it that far inland.
