I've pulled a lot of old boats out of Cambridge backyards. Some came with the house when someone inherited the property and had no idea what to do with it. Others sat through an estate cleanout, and the family just wanted it gone. I've also picked up vessels where the slip fees kept climbing and the owner finally decided to stop paying for something they hadn't used in years. A dead motor with a repair quote that cost more than the hull was worth. That's another one I see all the time here.
We handle the whole job from start to finish. That means loading the junk boat, getting it off your property, and dealing with the title work and Massachusetts paperwork on our end. A lot of times we'll run a pickup in Somerville the same afternoon as a Cambridge call, so the timing usually works out fast. Missing paperwork does not stop the job, details on the Massachusetts page.
