Everett, MA: 18 ft Sea Ray Gone in One Morning

An 18 ft Sea Ray 180 bowrider was sitting in a driveway in Everett with a sun-bleached cover shredded at the seams and trailer tires so dry-rotted they'd flattened under the weight years ago. The owner had inherited it from a relative, never used it, and had no title in the drawer. It was the kind of boat that had been there so long the neighbors stopped mentioning it. Getting it out meant dealing with a trailer that wouldn't roll. We brought a rotator and air bags to lift the frame clear of the ground, then loaded the whole rig onto the flatbed. The fiberglass hull was still intact enough to haul intact, so we didn't need to cut it down on the spot. Most of a morning from arrival to departure. No title meant paperwork handled per Massachusetts rules, and the hull went to the processor in Middlesex County where the fiberglass and hardware get separated and recycled.
