Hauling a cuddy cabin out of a Taunton storage lot

A 24 ft Formula 242 cuddy cabin sat in a Taunton yard for three seasons. The stringers under the cockpit floor had gone soft, and the tandem trailer underneath it was rusted through. The owner had stopped looking at it years ago, but the neighbors hadn't. We showed up on a Tuesday morning. The first problem was the trailer itself, the frame had corroded enough that we couldn't trust it to hold the weight in transit. We pulled the boat off the bad frame, loaded it onto our own rig, and cut the old trailer loose where it sat. The whole operation took us under an hour. The Formula went to the processor in Fall River, where the hull got broken down for recycling and the salvageable parts were sorted. Crews cover all of Bristol County: New Bedford, Fall River, Attleboro, Dartmouth, North Attleborough Town, Easton. Most pickups happen same week. We see a lot of seasonal movement here, boats coming out of winter storage in spring and going back in fall, which keeps the schedule tight but doable. Call with your address and we'll tell you the day.
