Some trailers were built for a boat two sizes smaller than what ends up sitting on them years later, and towing a sailboat past its rated weight is how axles fail on the highway. That covers a fair share of the calls out of Independence. The other is seasonal, the fall run to a storage lot before the lake freezes over, then the same trip back each spring.
