The survey was scheduled around a closing date, and the twenty-nine-foot cruiser has to be sitting at the yard that morning or the buyer's financing falls through. A sailboat lined up for its own survey the same week faces the identical squeeze: no truck in the family rated for a hull that size, and a date on the calendar that will not move.
My crew handles the haul with our own trailer, built for the hull, running it door to door with Newkirk and Blackwell on the same route. Oversize paperwork is ours before wheels turn. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved. Details on the Oklahoma boat transport page.
