Hauling a sailboat out of a Enid driveway

The O'Day 25 had been parked on stands in an Enid driveway for years. Keel bolts were weeping rust down the hull, and the fiberglass was chalky enough that you could see where rain had tracked through the gelcoat. The trailer underneath wasn't going anywhere,it needed new tires and the frame had settled into the gravel. Owner had stopped thinking about it until he couldn't anymore. We showed up on a Tuesday morning with a heavy-duty tow rig. The real work wasn't moving the boat,it was getting under those stands without the whole thing shifting. We jacked it carefully, set blocking, and used a crane to lift the keel out at our yard once we had it loaded. The mast came down before we left the driveway. Under two hours total from arrival to having it secured on the truck headed south. The hull went to the processor in Garfield County. Fiberglass that far gone doesn't come back, and the keel bolts had done their damage. We documented the title situation per Oklahoma rules and that was it,the driveway was clear. Crews cover all of Garfield County: Waukomis, North Enid, Garber, Lahoma, Covington, Drummond. Most pickups happen same week. We see a lot of sailboats and small cruisers coming out of storage in spring, heading back in fall, and we handle both moves.
