A 24 ft Formula 242 with a cuddy cabin sat in a Comanche County yard for three seasons. The stringers under the cockpit floor had rotted through, meaning the hull was compromised and the boat wasn't going anywhere under its own power. The tandem trailer it sat on had rusted so badly the frames were soft, and moving it meant we couldn't trust the axles or the tires to hold during transport.
