The yacht's owner has no way to haul it the two hundred miles to the nearest repair yard himself, not behind a rig that has never pulled anything heavier than a camper. The engine needs work only that yard does, and the marina where the boat has moored all summer wants it gone before ice sets in.
My crew handles the move with our own truck and trailer, running it door to door straight to the repair yard, oversize paperwork ours before the wheels turn. Altamont and Chiloquin sit on the same route we run through Klamath County. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved, details on the Oregon boat transport page.
