27 ft Chris-Craft Commander Removal in Bend, OR

A 27 ft Chris-Craft Commander 27 sat in a Deschutes County yard for three seasons. The cabin cruiser had good bones,fiberglass hull, solid structure,but a fuel smell that killed every sale attempt. No trailer underneath it. The owner had tried local dealers, posted it online, waited. Nothing stuck. We got the call in early spring. The boat was landlocked, no water access nearby, and the smell told us the fuel system was compromised. We brought a heavy-duty dolly setup to get under the hull, braced the cabin structure, and winched it onto our flatbed. No trailer meant we had to treat the whole rig as a single load,took most of a morning to secure and clear the property without tearing the fiberglass. Once it was loaded, we routed it to the salvage processor in Deschutes County where the hull got cut down and the usable aluminum and hardware got separated.
