Marina Boat Removal in Newport, OR

Coastal fog rolled through the marina most mornings that boat sat unclaimed at its slip. The 30 ft Bayliner had been left there after the owner moved inland and stopped answering the marina's calls about the account, and by the time we got involved the harbor office just wanted the space back for a paying tenant. The moorage was tight, with a narrow gap between finger floats that our tow boat had to thread before ever putting a line on it. We worked the tide, waiting for slack water so the current wouldn't push it into the neighboring hull, then walked it out slow and clean. Once it hit open water it was a straight tow to the ramp. The slip was posted available again by that afternoon.
