Hauling a pontoon out of a Hillsboro pickup

A 20 ft Sylvan Mirage 20 pontoon had been sitting in a Hillsboro backyard for three years, pontoons stained dark at the waterline and the furniture rotted through to the frame. The trailer was still serviceable, but the boat had settled into the gravel, and the access gate was narrow enough that a standard tow rig couldn't angle in without taking out fence posts. We came in with a smaller wrecker, backed it down the side yard, and used a come-along to shift the whole rig forward a few feet at a time until we had enough clearance to hook and pull. Once the pontoon was on the truck bed, the rest was straightforward. The whole job ran under two hours from arrival to departure. The Sylvan made it to our yard in Oregon the next morning. No title in the drawer, so we handled the paperwork per state rules and moved it into the inventory for recycling.
