A 24-foot sailboat is what a Redmond family bought secondhand from an estate sale, and the trailer behind their garage was built for a jon boat, not that hull, so hauling it themselves risked the hitch on the first grade out of town. A second owner ran into the same limit trying to move a cabin cruiser to a storage lot before the season closed, with nothing at home rated to carry it.
My crew runs boat hauling out of Redmond, load it and deliver door to door with our own truck, same routes as Bend and Sisters. Oversize paperwork is ours before the wheels turn. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved. Details on the Oregon boat transport page.
