I've pulled plenty of sailboats out of Clackamas County where the owner thought they'd sail again. One sat in a storage lot near Happy Valley for eight years, the mast down since a bad fall, rigging tangled and corroded, the owner telling himself he'd restore it come spring. Another came with a house purchase, a 28-footer on a trailer behind the garage, survey failed, sale collapsed, and the new owner just wanted it gone. Marina slip fees kept climbing. Storage lot rent kept climbing. The boat didn't move.
We handle sailboat disposal start to finish in Happy Valley and the surrounding area, including Johnson City and Damascus on the same haul. We rig down what's left, load it, tow it out, and handle all the paperwork transfer. Missing titles, unclear ownership, abandoned registration, none of that stops the job. Details on what happens next, including how we handle the rest of the process, are on the sailboat disposal page.
