I get calls from people in Unity who bought a sailboat ten, fifteen years ago and sailed it hard for a season or two. Then the mast came down one fall and never went back up. Or the slip fees outran the actual sailing, year after year. Sometimes it's an estate, a lake house that came with a rig nobody in the family knows how to handle. A survey failed during a sale and the buyer walked. A restoration stalled at the deck core and the money dried up. The boat sits in dry storage, on blocks in a backyard, or taking up space at a marina in Westmoreland County. It's not going anywhere, and neither are the bills.
We tow old sailboats from Unity start to finish. The crew handles the whole job across this part of the state, same trip takes us to St. Vincent College and Hostetter without breaking stride. We rig down, load, and haul. Missing paperwork doesn't stop us. More details on what happens next are on the Pennsylvania sailboat disposal page.
