Aberdeen's storage yard is closing its lot for winter, and the pontoon that has wintered there for six seasons needs a new address before the gate locks. A neighbor two lakes over is doing the same scramble with a sailboat he bought secondhand, no rig at home built to carry either one.
My crew handles the haul with our own truck and trailer, towing it door to door, with the oversize paperwork ours before the wheels move. Groton and Claremont sit on the same route we run. A boat bought without its paperwork sorted can still be moved, details on the South Dakota boat transport page.
