I've pulled sailboats out of Skagit County backyards, storage lots, and dry storage facilities where the owner ran out of patience or money years ago. One was a 32-foot cruiser with the mast down since a fall storm in the early 2010s. The owner kept meaning to step it back. Never did. Another sat behind a house on the edge of town, trailer sailer buried under a carport, slip fees long paid but the boat hadn't moved in a decade. Storage lot fees add up fast when you're not using the thing. The rigging corroded. The survey failed. The sale fell through. And then the call comes in.
We handle sailboat disposal from Mount Vernon through Burlington and Conway as a single run. The crew comes, assesses the rig and hull, disconnects what needs disconnecting, loads the boat on the truck, and tows it to the facility. Missing paperwork, no title, unclear ownership, Coast Guard documentation issues, none of that stops the job. We sort all of it. Details on what happens next, how we handle the mast and rigging, and what the whole process looks like from start to finish are on the sailboat disposal page.
