Hauling a cabin cruiser out of a Spokane salvage job

A 27 ft Chris-Craft Commander 27 sat in a Spokane Valley yard for three seasons, a fiberglass cabin cruiser that had a fuel smell so strong it killed every sale attempt before the buyer stepped aboard. No trailer. The hull was sound, but the owner had stopped trying to move it years ago. The boat was high and dry on blocks, which meant we couldn't just hook and haul. We brought in a marine-grade lift and set up a spreader bar across the beam to avoid cracking the cabin top. The real problem was access, the property backed up to a narrow service road that wouldn't take a full-size recovery truck. We ran the boat on a smaller carrier up to the county road, then transferred it to the main rig. The whole job ran most of a morning. Once it was on the truck, we routed it to the licensed processor for fiberglass hull recycling. The fuel tank was drained and disposed of per Washington State marine regs. The boat was gone. Crews cover all of Spokane County: Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Cheney, Airway Heights, Mead, Country Homes. We pick up the same week you call in most cases. A lot of boats move in and out of storage around here depending on the season, so we're set up to handle that timing. Whether your 27-footer is sitting on a property in Spokane or parked at a storage facility outside town, we load it and haul it out.
