Hauling a cuddy cabin out of a Seattle driveway

This 23 ft Rinker 232 cuddy cabin sat under a carport in King County for years, gelcoat crazed like a road map from seasons of freeze and thaw. The owner had listed it a couple times online, but a cracked hull with a trailer nobody could move isn't a quick sale, so it just stayed put. The trailer was the real problem. Both hubs had seized solid, so the whole rig was dead weight instead of something we could just hitch up and roll out. We ended up jacking the axle, freeing the wheels enough to walk it out in stages, working it down the driveway a few feet at a time toward the street, with a straight run out toward Kirkland once we hit the main road. Took most of a morning, mostly because of that trailer fight, not the boat itself. No title in the drawer, handled per the Washington page rules. Once it was loaded, the Rinker went straight to processing. Fiberglass hulls in that kind of shape aren't worth patching, so this one got cut down and routed to the recycler along with the trailer frame. Crews cover all of King County: Bellevue, Kent, Renton, Federal Way, Kirkland, Auburn. Most weeks we've got a truck already routed through Seattle, so a 23 ft Rinker in Seattle usually gets picked up the same week you call, not weeks out. Spring and fall bring a steady run of boats coming out of storage yards near Renton and Auburn, so we're already set up for trailer moves in that stretch of the county.
