Three counties is far enough that nobody in the family had visited the 21-foot ski boat left behind by an uncle until the estate finally closed, the boat sitting at a small marina the whole time on a bill someone else had been quietly paying. A cousin's sailboat turned up in the same inventory, docked an hour further out, both boats now belonging to people who live nowhere near where they sit.
