Vallejo, CA: 16 ft Smoker Craft Gone in One Morning

A 16 ft Smoker Craft 16 had been parked in a Vallejo driveway for so long that pine needles had stained the aluminum hull a deep green. The fishing boat sat on a trailer with a bent tongue jack that wouldn't lower, which meant we couldn't use a standard winch setup to load it onto the hauler. The driveway was tight, boxed in on two sides, so we couldn't back the truck straight in the way we normally do. We came in with a smaller hydraulic lift and worked the boat off the trailer by hand, setting it on dollies and rolling it to the truck bed instead of winching. The whole job ran under an hour once we were on site. No title in the drawer, so we handled the paperwork per California's abandoned-vessel rules. The hull went to the metal recycler in Solano County, and the trailer stayed behind for the owner to deal with separately. We cover all of Solano County: Fairfield, Vacaville, Suisun City, Benicia, Dixon, Rio Vista. Most pickups happen same week. Vallejo sits right in the middle of our route, and we see a lot of seasonal movement here, boats coming out of storage in spring or going in before winter. Call with your address and the size of the smoker boat, and we'll tell you the day.
