Most of the calls I get from Santa Monica come from one of two situations. First, there's the boat that's been sitting. The mast came down one fall and never went back up. The slip fees kept coming anyway, year after year, until the owner finally stopped pretending they'd get back to it. Second, there's the estate. Someone inherited a sailboat they've never sailed, stored in dry storage across town, and they're just done paying the monthly bill. The rigging's still there. The title's somewhere in a drawer. Neither owner's coming back.
When you call, we handle it start to finish. We can cover Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, and Culver City on the same run, so if your old sailboat is anywhere in that zone, the logistics work out. We get the paperwork sorted, rig it down, and get it on the truck. No marina access, no survey report, no storage lot clearance delays you. Missing paperwork doesn't stop the job. More details on how we handle the actual disposal are on the sailboat disposal page.
