I get two kinds of calls from Plant City. One is the owner who listed the boat for a full season, got nothing but free-seekers and tire-kickers, and finally accepted it's not selling. The other is someone who inherited the house with a fiberglass hull rotting in the backyard, or bought property where the boat came with the deal and the previous owner left no paperwork. The landfill won't take it. The scrap yard looked at it once, took the trailer, and left the hull behind. Now it's been sitting there long enough that it's become a neighbor problem and a code issue.
We tow fiberglass boats out of Plant City and the surrounding area, including Dover and Valrico on the same trip. Most calls start with someone saying the motor died years ago, the repair quote beat what the boat's worth, and they need it gone start to finish. We handle the whole job whether the title paperwork is missing or still in a box somewhere. Details on how we process the hull are on the fiberglass boat disposal page.
