Baton Rouge, LA: 26 ft Sea Ray Gone in One Morning

A 26 ft Sea Ray 268 Sundancer sat in a yard in East Baton Rouge Parish with a soft transom and peeling bottom paint. The owner had pulled it off the water years ago and never got it back in. No trailer, no title in the drawer, and the cabin cruiser was heavy enough that moving it without the right equipment meant risking damage to the lawn and the boat both. We showed up with a heavy-duty rotator and a flatbed that could handle the weight. The soft transom meant we couldn't trust the existing mounting points, so we built a custom cradle to distribute the load across the hull. Took most of a morning to rig it safely, load it, and get it secured for the route out through Zachary. Louisiana paperwork was handled according to state rules. Once it was at the processor, the fiberglass got sorted for recycling and the hardware went to salvage. The yard was clear by afternoon.
