Barn Boat Removal in American Fork, Utah

An American Fork barn had swallowed a Starcraft so completely that the current owner forgot it was even in there until a cleanout turned it up behind stacked hay bales. It had belonged to a relative who used it on local reservoirs for years, then the motor started flooding on every start and nobody bothered chasing down the fix. It just got pushed further back each season a truck needed parking. What slowed the pickup wasn't the boat, aluminum hulls are light, it was the barn door frame, narrower than the trailer beam by a couple inches, so we had to walk the hull out on a dolly before re-mounting it on the trailer outside. Took an extra half hour but no damage to the frame. The aluminum went straight into our recycling stream, motor stripped for scrap separately.
