Boat Scrap Yard Pickup in Post Falls, Idaho

Somewhere under the hay in that barn was an aluminum boat nobody remembered buying new. The outboard seized up during a fishing trip years back, and once it stopped running, it got backed into the barn for what was supposed to be one winter and turned into most of a decade. A storage-lot quote down the road finally pushed the owner to just get rid of it instead of paying to keep something that never left the property anyway. Getting a truck close enough meant clearing a path through farm equipment parked in front of the barn doors, which took longer than loading the boat itself once we had a straight line to back down. Twenty minutes on the hitch and it was out. The aluminum hull still had decent scrap weight even after all those years, so it went to a metal recycler instead of a landfill, and the barn finally has room for a tractor again.
