17 ft Glasspar Seafair Removal in Brooklyn, NY

This 17 ft Glasspar Seafair had been sitting in a Kings County side yard long enough that nobody in the house remembered buying it. It was a sixties classic on paper, the kind of boat guys used to restore, but the hull had gone soft in spots and the deck hardware was rusted solid. Too far gone to fix. Just taking up space through another winter. The trailer under it had collapsed years back, so the boat sat almost flat on the ground, tucked against a fence with maybe two feet of clearance on either side. No slip, no driveway angle, nothing easy about it. My crew hand carried rigging under the hull, worked it onto a dolly in sections, and walked it out to the truck instead of trying to winch a dead trailer. Took most of a morning with a narrow route out toward Canarsie to get clear of the block. There was no title in the drawer, handled that per the New York page rules and moved on. The Glasspar went straight to the processor for the fiberglass hulls we can't save, cut down and cleared same day. Crews cover all of Kings County: Brooklyn and every neighborhood in it, from Sheepshead Bay to Greenpoint. Most Glasspar pickups get scheduled the same week you call, no long wait for a truck. A good chunk of our Brooklyn runs happen in spring and fall, when folks are moving a hull in or out of storage and just need that old fiberglass boat gone before the new one takes its spot.
