Troy, NY: 19 ft Four Winns Horizon Gone in One Morning

A 19 ft Four Winns Horizon 190 sat in a driveway in Troy for two years after the motor seized. The fiberglass bowrider was still on its trailer, but the tires had gone soft and the frame had settled unevenly into the gravel. The owner had given up on fixing it and just wanted it gone. We pulled in on a Tuesday morning. The real obstacle wasn't the boat itself,it was the driveway slope and a tight angle toward the street. The trailer needed to be winched backward at an angle to clear a fence post without catching the corner of the hull. We positioned our heavy wrecker, took our time with the angle, and had it loaded and strapped down in under two hours. The Horizon went to our processor in Troy, where the fiberglass was sorted from the steel and aluminum for recycling.
