The Acreage, FL: 24 ft Maxum 2400 SCR Off the Bottom in One Morning

Chalk had taken over the hull of the 24 ft Maxum 2400 SCR, and a soft spot at the transom gave way last. She had sat on a trailer for years before a short stay in the water. At the ramp, the gunwales were level with the surface, and the cabin cruiser was nearly full.
Depth was shallow, but the obstacle was the soft transom itself. If we pulled from the stern, the whole back end could tear away. So the crew rigged lift bags at the bow, the middle, and well forward of the transom, and raised her evenly. Then we strapped the transom from below before she cleared the water.
She floated and rode a short tow to the ramp. Rot had spread through the stringers, and rebuilding made no sense, and there was little to salvage. Sunken boat recovery ended with dismantling and recycling at our yard, via Boynton Beach. Four hours on site.

Crews cover Palm Beach County: Belle Glade, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach and Delray Beach. When a boat goes under in The Acreage, photos and a rough depth are usually enough to plan the job, and most recoveries here are scheduled within the same week. Lift bags, a skiff, and a trailer all arrive with our crew, so you do not have to line up three different outfits. Photos from you are enough for us to say what the raise involves.
