Cincinnati, OH: 24 ft Formula Gone in One Morning

This 24 ft Formula 242 had been parked in a side yard in Hamilton County for years, cuddy cabin faded gray, and the stringers under the cockpit floor had gone soft and rotted from years of standing water nobody ever pumped out. Once the owner started walking on the deck and feeling it flex, he knew the boat was done. The tandem trailer was rusted through on one axle, and the tire on that side had gone flat and dry-rotted into the rim. We couldn't tow it as-is, so we brought a second axle jack and skated it out one side at a time onto our flatbed, working around a fence line that only gave us a few feet of clearance. Route out went past Norwood. Whole job took most of a morning between the rigging and the load. No title in the drawer, handled per the Ohio page rules. From there the hull went straight to cutdown, fiberglass separated for the processor and the rotted decking tossed with the rest of the debris. Crews cover all of Hamilton County: Delhi, Forest Park, Sycamore, White Oak, Norwood, Symmes. Most of these calls line up the same week you reach out, and we can usually work around whatever's on your calendar. A good chunk of our Cincinnati runs come off seasonal storage yards, pulling a 24 ft Formula that's been parked since fall and never made it back to the water come spring.
