A 24 ft Harris FloteBote 24 pontoon sat in a driveway just outside Clermont with a bubbled vinyl floor and a snapped bimini frame. The tandem trailer underneath was nothing but rust and seized axles. The owner had bought it years ago thinking he'd use it every weekend. He didn't. One morning he called and said he was done looking at it. The boat was heavy, the trailer wouldn't roll, and the driveway was tight. We winched it onto our flatbed, then went after the trailer separately. No title in the drawer, so we handled the paperwork per Florida's abandoned property rules. The whole job took most of a morning. We loaded it, photographed it on the truck, and hauled it back to our yard in Lake County. He got a document saying it was gone. That was it.
