Hauling a center console out of a Great Falls storage lot

A 20 ft Grady-White 204 center console sat in a Cascade County yard for three years. The fiberglass hull had a cracked console, the fuel tank was suspect, and the trailer's axle had rusted solid. The owner had bought it thinking he'd rebuild it. He never did. When we showed up, the trailer wheels wouldn't budge. We had to winch the whole rig onto a flatbed rather than tow it. The yard was tight, surrounded by storage sheds, so we worked in stages to angle the boat out without clipping anything. Took us most of a morning. Once it cleared the property line and was secured, we hauled it to the recycler in Ulm where they cut the hull and processed the materials per Montana salvage rules. Crews cover all of Cascade County: Malmstrom AFB, Sun Prairie, Vaughn, Ulm, Black Eagle, Cascade. We pick up same week most of the time, depending on where your 20-footer is sitting. A lot of boats move in and out of storage around here with the season, and we handle those transitions. Whether it's parked at a property outside town or staged at a local facility, we come get it, load it, and haul it out.
